Going global with ING Malaysia

Are you planning to invest in some Malaysian global unit trust funds or mutual funds but don’t know what are available? There are several but here’s a look at the ING Global Real Estate Fund (IGREF). I’ll look into some others at a later time but meanwhile, happy reading!

This global properties equity fund, launched by ING Funds Berhad on 18 Jul 2006 at 50 sen per unit, is a feeder fund to the ING Global Real Estate Securities Fund (IGCAX) which is domiciled in the Cayman Islands. All Ringgit investments are converted into US Dollar and invested into the IGCAX.

    Today 14/3/2007, the worldwide stock market has droped deeply. I understand that ING Global Real Estate Fund is also into those stock listed in world wide market. Will today worldwide stock market drops affect ING GREFund?
